ANC needs hundreds of new contractor drivers (and not just for Christmas)

“ANC is growing, and we are looking for contractor drivers to grow with us,” says James Taylor, ANC’s Managing Director. “And unlike some organisations, we’ll be keeping our drivers beyond the festive season.” Taylor says while ANC needs drivers who specifically have commercial vehicles such as utes, vans and trucks, it also offers a ‘try before you buy’ option, whereby drivers can rent a vehicle through agencies like Budget to experience what it’s like working with ANC as an owner driver.

ANC introduces new 100% electric vehicles to New South Wales home delivery market

ANC has unveiled its first commercial electric vehicle fleet, dedicated to its client IKEA’s last mile home delivery services in New South Wales. The introduction of three 100% electric vehicles is part of ANC’s strategy to introduce an environmentally sound transportation alternative to its clients and their customers. The zero-emissions commercial trucks will save an estimated 36 tonnes of CO2 per annum when compared to a typical diesel equivalent.

IKEA commits to electric vehicles for Australian operation

IKEA Australia has made the commitment to use only electric vehicles (EVs) by 2025. In partnership with its transport service providers including ANC, IKEA will be the first home furnishing company in Australia to have last mile deliveries and assembly services carried out by electric vehicles and aims to reach a five per cent roll out by mid-2019, rising to ten per cent in 2020 and 100 per cent by the end of the 2025 financial year.
