His ability to navigate complexity, build high-performing teams, and align stakeholders has underpinned successful delivery across diverse sectors.
Outside of work, Vishaal finds energy in the outdoors, travel, and laughing often with his wife, delightful daughter, and super-energetic son. A former competitive cricketer, captain, and opening batsman, he remains a passionate follower of test cricket—and is known to draw the occasional well-timed cricket analogy when the moment calls for it.
He is deeply committed to giving back to the community, with a passion for mentoring youth. Vishaal has spent over seven years as a judge and mentor for the University of Auckland’s Innovation & Entrepreneurship Program, co-founded a migrant community group, and coached sports teams to help young people build confidence and leadership.
