What do you do at ANC?
I’m the National Account Manager for Bunzl, Barbeques Galore, WSI and Laminex, plus the State Account Manager for The Good Guys and JB Hi-Fi. I have been part of the ANC family since early 2019.
Transport career experience?
I’ve worked in logistics for 28+ years across different roles including Account Manager, Project Manager, Depot Manager and Regional Manager. My role prior ANC was the Account Manager of a high profile fashion account.
Favourite part of your job?
It would have to be the people. Moving from a big business environment that was impersonal to a big business that has a family culture has been a positive and rewarding change. At ANC, we truly work as a team rather than as individuals. I am surrounded by people willing to help and wanting to achieve goals collectively.
How would you describe ANC if it was a person?
The one you seek out for advice, honesty, guidance and can openly talk to about any issue.
What do you like to do when you are not working?
I am a car enthusiast, Formula One and V8 Supercars are my passion. Following Formula One means lots of late Sunday nights watching races from all over the world and I have been lucky enough to attend some of the major ones while travelling. I follow the local Supercar racing religiously, and enjoy watching the major races like Bathurst. I am lucky enough to own a couple of the road going versions of the racing cars as well.
How do you help ANC deliver extraordinary experiences?
At ANC, it is a team effort. As the National Account Manager, my role is helping the client to achieve the best possible experiences by representing ANC well, and developing the best possible business relationship. This includes introducing more productive ways of working together and innovations. Extraordinary experiences are achieved by the flow on of a positive client relationship all the way through to the customer.
