What do you do at ANC?
Answer incoming calls from customers and general enquiries, provide answers for job queries, ETA’s, booking in delivery jobs and provide quotes. I also do reports for clients and handle freight consignments and offloads.
Transport career experience?
You couldn’t believe the things I’ve seen and done in three years at ANC! Starting as a warehouse assistant I handled freight, liaised with loading docks, dealt with drivers and contacted clients every day. Since my promotion to customer service I now get to help customers, assist with freight and complete reports for our key clients.
Favourite part of your job?
Getting glowing feedback from clients and their customers. It is nice to know I’ve helped make their day or solved a problem. There’s nothing more rewarding than happy, returning customers.
What do you like to do when you are not working?
Hanging out with my nephews and the rest of my family as much as I can. I’m also a bit of a rev-head so I love going to car events. On the other hand, a part of me really enjoys exploring spiritual places.
What do you think delivering extraordinary experiences means?
Doing what I can to help delivery drivers and others get their job done. It might be something as simple as checking delivery details are accurate and correct or helping the warehouse team when they’re short staffed. When all the little things that people do come together, that’s what makes extraordinary experiences.
